Our client is a leading online brokerage firm offering a comprehensive suite of investment products and tools designed to help self‑directed investors take control of their financial future. Due to growth, they are looking for a passionate and data‑driven Mobile Product Manager to elevate our mobile app experience to the next level.
Mobile Product Manager with 3‑5+ years of experience managing consumer‑facing mobile applications, preferably within fintech, trading, or banking. Own the roadmap, feature definition, and user experience of the mobile app (iOS and Android).
Key Responsibilities- Product Strategy &
Roadmap:
Define and drive the long‑term vision and strategy for the mobile app. Build and prioritize the product roadmap based on user feedback, data analytics, market trends, and business goals. - Feature Development: Lead the end‑to‑end product lifecycle for new mobile features (e.g., trading tools, charting, portfolio analytics, onboarding) from ideation to launch and post‑launch optimization.
- Cross‑functional
Collaboration:
Partner closely with engineering, design, marketing, compliance, and customer support teams to execute the product roadmap efficiently, ensuring high‑quality, on‑time releases. - User Experience (UX/UI): Obsess over user experience, creating intuitive, frictionless, and secure, high‑performing mobile interfaces.
- Compliance & Risk: Ensure all mobile features comply with regulatory standards (FINRA/SEC) and security protocols.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 3‑5 years of direct product management experience with a focus on native mobile apps (iOS/Android).
- Fintech Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of equities, options, ETFs, trading mechanics, and the brokerage industry.
- Technical Literacy: Ability to discuss technical constraints and possibilities with engineering teams, including APIs and app architecture.
- Methodologies: Proficient in Agile development, Jira, and Scrum ceremonies.
- Analytical
Skills:
Expert in using analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel, Google Analytics) to drive decisions. - Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree minimum.
They are an on‑site team and this role will be based in their Whitestone, Queens office – accessible via car with parking, as well as the 7 Train.
CompensationLooking ideally for candidates in the 150‑180k Range. Yearly performance bonus 10‑20% based on performance. Full benefits, PTO, flexible.
