The Procurement function is responsible for the provision of leading edge procurement services aligned to business strategy and requirements, aiming to enhance value and productivity across the supplier value‑chain through effective, efficient and agile processes delivered by a strategic, commercial and risk‑focused function.

- Support the Global Procurement Leads with the development and implementation of 3‑year rolling Category Sourcing Strategies covering Technology and Non‑Technology services.
- Define and agree regional category plans that deliver ongoing commercial value in terms of cost, performance and risk in accordance with the overall procurement strategy aligned to business objectives and strategies.
- Build strong relationships with regional business stakeholders, business management and finance, and with third‑party suppliers.
- Provide market insights to the broader procurement team, including key stakeholders, senior management and the procurement sourcing office.
- Manage and execute regional sourcing processes, including pipeline management, competitive tenders and benchmarking to identify best supplier options and embed commercial, contractual, performance and service delivery stipulations aligned to business requirements.
- Ensure all regional contracts are abstracted and added to the contract repository, and maintain contract metadata throughout the lifecycle.
- Manage regional contract sourcing projects (≤£250k p.a.) in liaison with Procurement Leads to Sourcing Management Team, and drive successful delivery through active management of assigned sourcing managers.
- Actively participate in strategic initiatives, including transformation, continuous improvement and innovation programmes.
- Manage and lead complex high‑value contract negotiations (>£250k p.a.) with suppliers in the region.
- Participate in appropriate governance forums and develop supporting metrics & reporting with the Procurement Efficiency Office.
- Collaborate and support commercial contract management activities with category panels and preferred supplier lists, performance and commercial issues during the post‑deal contract period.
- Provide support to the Procurement Efficiency Office with supplier onboarding queries, third‑party risk management activities and process issues, and off‑board suppliers upon contract termination for regional suppliers.
- Liaise with business/service owners to drive spend through preferred suppliers or existing framework agreements.
- Support and actively participate in Category Management in major sourcing projects impacting multiple business functions and stakeholders, supporting the broader TP ICAP business strategy.
Essential
- Degree preferred or equivalent experience in a supply chain or procurement environment.
- Strong negotiation and contract management capabilities.
- Purchase order process and invoice approval management.
- Experience with contract management platforms (Service Now, Ariba, etc.).
- Technical knowledge relevant to procurement such as contract negotiations (MCIPS or equivalent) and third‑party risk management.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, in particular Excel.
