Order Analyst

We are seeking a full-time Order Analyst who is detail-oriented and analytically-minded to join our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with Order Desk Team including Lead Analyst and Order Processors to fulfill customer orders.
• Examine orders, and determine the best prices according to a number of factors including base cost, tax, shipping, competition, velocity, and sales history.
• Make daily purchasing decisions, while also keeping track of larger market trends, availability of, and demand for particular products.
• Communicate with suppliers and distributors about pricing and payment for items.

Extensive training and on-boarding will be provided to ensure your comfort and success. Benefits include paid holidays and an employer matching retirement plan. Hours are 9am-5pm Monday-Friday with some flexibility and the possibility of additional hours during peak sale seasons.

Requirements:

• Strong aptitude for and interest in math
• Basic computer competency
• Attention to detail and self-motivation
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Willingness to learn new computer programs and systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of basic accounting principles
• Previous experience in e-commerce, retail, or sales
• Completed coursework in math, accounting, or business
