We are seeking a Procurement Business Analyst for our banking client. This is a contract role onsite in NYC. Potential for contract to hire. Pay is $65/hr plus benefits. Please see all the details below:
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop refined specifications and outputs via regular Stakeholder meetings
· Perform analysis of the requirements and ensure the integrity of the solutions provided by external sources meets the business needs
· Ensuring the required solutions are implemented as per the specification by vendors and/or internal service providers
· Leading internal and external developers in the effort to provide solutions
· Develop processes and process controls as needed based on ongoing Query log. Be able to articulate visually before/after/gap analysis to establish success metrics
· Develop UAT and stakeholder tested scenarios to ensure that deployments are well tested
· Work with other disciplines within the organization to ensure that the proper integration effort is being conducted for the functions supported by Procurement
· Ability to multitask several ongoing issues. This involves the ability to assess priority and make appropriate decisions quickly and effectively
· Provide project management discipline in ensuring that deliverables are met in terms of timelines & quality. This includes prioritizing correctly and managing & monitoring progress, escalating issues in a timely manner
· Must be comfortable in a team oriented environment and possess skills to “win over” the trust of a broad user base across multiple functions (e.g. finance, legal, IT)
Skills:
· 5-7 years of experience
· Experience in Sourcing and Procurement is required, Finance skills are a plus
· Ability to work with business and function leaders to understand their requirements
· Ability to clearly document and communicate outputs into working business processes and procedures (formal and informative), allocating accountability as required
· Project management experience and the use of associated tools is required
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Effective presentation skills, written and oral
· Self-driven -- Ability to lead projects from initiation to completion
· Ability to multitask several ongoing issues. This involves the ability to assess priority and make appropriate decisions quickly and effective
