The Business Planning Analyst role manages daily Sales & KPI reporting for DTC Digital Commerce channels and supports the Business Planning team with data analysis, financial reports, dashboards and ad‑hoc requests. The Analyst collaborates with technical teams to develop new financial reports and business tools, driving sales, profit and inventory productivity.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Assist in managing daily functions of the Business Planning team
- Maintain accurate business reporting and deliver dashboards & reports for key stakeholders
- Develop methods for data collection, trend analysis and business insight
- Utilize available systems and resources to support ad‑hoc business analyses requested by management
- Improve internal system business analysis tool usage across the organization
- Partner with the Business Planning team to develop daily financial plans and forecasts, including sales and gross margin in accordance with corporate goals
- Facilitate ongoing communication with cross‑functional teams, including Merchandise Planning, Marketing, Site Analytics and Supply Chain
- Establish, nurture, and leverage internal and external partners to drive business results
- Strong analytical skills and retail math fluency
- Clear oral and written communication; ability to present complex information understandably
- Adaptability to changing situations with flexibility in juggling priorities
- Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in MS Office applications;
Adobe Omniture experience is a plus - Comfortable conducting database queries and creating reports; experienced at manipulating data from multiple sources
- Retail experience preferred; digital experience a plus
