A premier real estate and economic development consulting firm is seeking a Junior Chief of Staff to join the team in New York City in support of a top C‑suite executive. This firm has several decades of experience advising on complex real estate & economic development projects in cities across the globe! WhoYou Are
- You bring at least 5 years of experience supporting C‑suite and/or top leadership in a strategic, right‑hand role
- Experienced in supporting executive leadership team, preparing communications and/or Board materials
- Systems‑minded and able to design processes that create clarity and momentum
- Empathetic, service‑oriented, and trusted by stakeholders at all levels
- Strong communicator, adaptable in writing and speaking across audiences
- Curious, resilient, and motivated by continuous learning and feedback
- Comfortable using productivity, project management, and presentation tools, including AI‑enabled workflows
- Work closely with the CEO to track priorities, commitments, and daily operations
- Partner with the CEO’s Executive Assistant to keep calendars and communications running smoothly
- Support firmwide initiatives and executive leadership team by monitoring progress, flagging issues, and preparing decision‑ready materials
- Draft and organize communications, including presentations, updates, correspondence, and thought leadership
- Prepare internal and external meetings, shaping agendas, assembling materials, and tracking outcomes
- Assist with business development by researching opportunities and managing follow‑up
- Improve systems and workflows over time, testing new tools and AI solutions
- Contribute to special projects, including internal initiatives, research, and client‑facing work
- The CEO stays ahead of priorities with clear visibility into decisions and deadlines
- Leadership initiatives progress smoothly with strong coordination
- Communications are timely, clear, and aligned with organizational goals
- Meetings are well‑prepared and produce clear action items
- Systems and workflows improve, increasing efficiency
Salary Range: $110,000 – 130,000 annually, based on experience
Location: New York, NY – Hybrid
