Purchasing HVAC/Refrigeration Parts, Equipment Role at AFGO Mechanical Services, Inc.

Base pay $30.00/hr – $35.00/hr actual pay will be based on skills and experience.

• Manage the daily operation of the parts department, including purchasing materials and maintaining inventory levels.
• Source replacement parts as required and research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities, and the supplier’s reputation and history.
• Create and manage purchase orders, receive material deliveries, monitor stock inventory levels, and reorder material for stock.
• Work with other staff, including Customer Service Coordinators, Field Technicians, and the Service Manager, to perform day‑to‑day operations in a busy fast‑paced environment.
• Fulfill material requirements quickly and accurately.

• Strong work ethic and highly motivated to make a difference.
• Adaptable, flexible, and able to handle a high volume of tasks under pressure.
• Prior knowledge of material and parts related to HVAC and mechanical is a plus, but not required.
• Must possess a systems and process background.
• Computer skills required: proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) and basic Windows environment.
• Web navigation to effectively use search engines.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask and organize job‑specific documentation and information.
• Punctual, reliable and responsible; strong organizational skills.
