Manager, Business Operations & Analytics, Factor New Channels

Manager, Business Operations and Analytics, Factor New Channels

Factor’s New Channels team is focused on expanding into emerging distribution channels beyond our core DTC business – including B2B, Healthcare, Food service, and Retail. As we scale, we’re hiring a Manager of Business Operations & Analytics to build the operational engine that will power our growth. Partnering closely with GTM, Operations, Tech, Finance, and more, you will proactively identify, design, and build the automated, scalable solutions that will unlock new growth opportunities and drive efficiency.

This is a high‑impact “builder” role owning the systems that enable growth for new channels.

You will …
  • Analyze & Optimize:
Act as the operational problem‑solver for the New Channels team, conducting deep dives into our current workflows across GTM, Ops, and Finance to identify and map out bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
  • Own & Improve:
Own the full process improvement lifecycle by designing, building, and managing automated solutions and custom tooling for key GTM and sales operations workflows (e.g., invoicing, lead routing, reporting), leveraging data from systems like Hub Spot and Shopify.
  • Build & Automate:
Leverage AI tools to solve practical business problems, such as synthesizing unstructured data from customer feedback or Slack channels into actionable business intelligence.
  • Visualize & Report:
Build and maintain the critical dashboards and reports that track our KPIs, and provide stakeholders with clear, actionable insights derived from your analysis.
  • Lead & Implement:
Lead cross‑functional projects to drive these operational changes, managing stakeholders and timelines to ensure your solutions are adopted and effective.
You are …
  • An Owner & Collaborator:
You are a strong communicator and can confidently manage projects that span GTM, Ops, Tech, Finance, and more.
  • Analytical & Technical:
You are fluent in SQL and are experienced at using AI to drive solutions to business problems. You are excited diving deep into complex datasets, automating processes, building complex models, and creating insightful, user‑friendly dashboards in BI tools (like Tableau or Looker) that drive business decisions.
  • AI‑Fluent:
You actively use and build with AI tools to automate work, synthesize information, and solve practical business problems.
  • A Builder:
You have a proven ability to map complex “current state” processes, identify inefficiencies, and then design, build, and deploy automated, self‑running solutions from scratch. You have a keen interest in leveraging new technologies, including AI, to solve practical business problems.
  • Self‑Motivated & Results‑Driven:
You are able to work effectively both independently and as a project leader, pushing multiple initiatives to completion with a sense of urgency.
You have …
  • At least 3‑5+ years of experience in a high‑growth environment, such as business operations, strategy, consulting, or data analytics.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a track record of identifying and eliminating bottlenecks.
  • Demonstrated fluency in building automated workflows and proactively using AI tools to solve practical business problems.
  • Proficiency with data query languages (e.g., SQL) and data visualization tools.
  • Experience with GTM systems (e.g., Hub Spot, Shopify) or no‑code automation platforms is a significant plus.
  • Exposure to CPG or Retail is a plus.
Additional Information
  • This role is hiring for an immediate start.
  • This position is hybrid in‑office in our FiDi, New York office.
You'll get …
  • Competitive hourly rate, 401(k) company match that vests immediately upon participation, & team bonus opportunities.
  • Generous PTO and flexible attendance policy.
  • Comprehensive health and wellness benefits with options at $0 monthly, effective first day of employment.
  • Up to 85% discount on subscriptions to Hello Fresh meal plans (Hello Fresh, Green Chef, Every plate, and Factor_).
  • Access to Employee Resource Groups that are open to all employees, including those pertaining to BIPOC, women, veterans, parents, and LGBTQ+.
  • Inclusive, collaborative, and dynamic work environment within a fast‑paced, mission‑driven company that is disrupting the traditional food supply chain.
