This is a full-time, on-site role for a Project Controller located in New York, NY. The Project Controller will oversee and manage financial performance and reporting for assigned projects. Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, cost control, financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with project schedules and financial objectives. Collaboration with project managers and cross-functional teams to monitor progress and resolve discrepancies will also be a critical element of this role.

• Responsible for COINS entries of hours, labor, material, equipment, subcontractor, other costs, project budgets, change orders, and forecasting.
• Responsible for reports of financial progress to Operations Team.
• Responsible for monthly progress meetings of active projects.
• Escalate issues to Operations management.
• Build the initial operational schedule and update it monthly.
• Being aware of the contractual requirements and update a tracker monthly.

• 5+ years of experience in project management.
• Working knowledge of COINS, Excel, Word, Plan Grid.
• 5+ years construction industry accounting practices experience.
• Strong time management skills with a focus on multiple hard deadlines.
• Office hours are generally Monday – Friday | 7:00am – 4:00pm but additional hours may be required during peak periods.
• Requires handling of light and moderate weight objects including office equipment and other office supplies.
• Frequently sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time while using a telephone, computer, cell phone.

• Travel from office to project locations.
• Willing to report to any Unity office or field office full or parttime as needed.
• Able to navigate NYC office buildings and construction sites.
• Access typical office equipment, access file cabinets.
