As an Associate Account Manager at Jon Michael Design (JMD), you will support day‑to‑day account activity, ensuring smooth communication between clients and internal teams in a fast‑paced environment.
Your OpportunityJMD is a dynamic subsidiary of Taylor Corporation seeking a proactive, detail‑oriented professional with a collaborative spirit. You will manage client relationships, coordinate project timelines, and support creative teams to deliver high‑quality results.
Your Schedule- Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm EST
- Based at 525 7th Ave, New York, NY 10018
Key Responsibilities
- Provide solutions‑oriented client service, ensuring a professional experience at every touchpoint.
- Coordinate client projects from kickoff to final delivery, keeping stakeholders informed.
- Assist in writing proposals, scopes of work, and presentations.
- Create, maintain, and track internal timelines that align with client deadlines; escalates risks or delays when necessary.
- Serve as a reliable point of contact for clients, nurturing relationships and facilitating communication with internal teams.
- Capture detailed meeting notes and translate them into actionable next steps.
- Organize project assets and communication for the creative team’s success.
- Work closely with the creative team to coordinate meetings, gather requirements, and provide day‑to‑day support.
- Monitor progress to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Share project updates in daily team huddles, identify blockers, and align on priorities.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as invoicing, vendor setup, and IT communication.
- Help manage studio tasks, including deliveries, parcel shipping, and office tidiness.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 2+ years of experience in client services, account management, marketing, communications, or a creative/agency environment (internships included).
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); familiarity with project‑management tools is a plus.
- Creative mindset with strategic thinking and idea contribution.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation preparation and delivery.
- Interest or experience in sales, client development, or account growth is a plus.
- Strong time‑management, organization, and prioritization skills.
- Collaborative mindset and teamwork within cross‑functional teams.
