We are seeking several Business Development Specialists to join our rapidly growing Business Development team at a leading global law firm. The roles offer an exciting opportunity to collaborate with the Associate Director and support business growth across multiple practice areas, including Banking, FIG and Transactional.
- Specialist, Business Development (Banking) – Banking experience required.
- Specialist, Business Development (FIG)
- Specialist, Business Development (Transactional) – Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese required.
Pitching & Proposals
- Lead creation, preparation, and coordination of RFPs, proposals, and pitches.
- Enhance templates and content to improve presentation materials.
- Draft tailored copy to convey the firm’s credentials and differentiators.
Marketing Materials
- Manage experience lists using the firm’s database.
- Maintain and update awards, bios, practice area descriptions, and pitch documents.
Client Targeting & Growth
- Support new client acquisition initiatives and identify opportunities to cross-sell services.
- Collaborate on campaigns to grow client relationships.
Profile-Raising & Thought Leadership
- Partner with Marketing and PR teams to increase internal and external visibility.
- Research and support speaking events, sponsor ships, and client communications.
Event & Engagement Management
- Assist with planning and executing client events and speaking engagements.
- Analyze attendee lists and prepare tailored materials.
- Track follow‑ups and client interactions in CRM systems.
Operational Efficiency & Communication
- Maintain departmental guidelines and procedures.
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ensure reliable in-office presence and compliance with firm policies.
- Minimum of 3 years of law firm or professional services experience.
- Strong business development and marketing experience; must be a specialist in business development.
- Proficiency with software such as Inter Action, Foundation, MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Excellent project management, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Eligible for discretionary bonus.
- Work in a dynamic, high-growth Business Development team.
- Hybrid work model (3 days in office, 2 days remote).
