Consultant, Corporate Strategy & Planning

Early Warning® – Locations:
Scottsdale, San Francisco, Chicago, New York (hybrid work model). This position is ineligible for Visa sponsorship.

The role sets, drives and supports execution of enterprise strategy for cross‑functional initiatives. You will work with leadership to define and execute 1‑3 year strategic plans, collaborate with the M&A function, and influence product roadmaps. The role reports to the Director of Corporate Strategy & Planning and interacts with the C‑suite, senior executives, and external stakeholders.

Essential Functions
  • Strategic Planning:
    Manage 5‑, 3‑, and 1‑year planning processes to prioritize business plans and allocate resources.
  • Growth Strategy Definition:
    Develop strategy recommendations that enhance competitive advantages by understanding market trends, competitive dynamics, and internal capabilities.
  • Strategic Initiatives & Business Case:
    Create qualitative and quantitative analyses to prioritize, budget and monetize new programs.
  • Market & Industry Expertise:
    Identify and qualify inorganic growth ideas, evaluate synergies and risks in potential M&A transactions.
  • Project Management:
    Lead all aspects of strategy initiatives or deal transactions.
  • Creative Problem Solving:
    Structure complex problems, develop hypotheses, conduct analyses, and recommend actionable solutions.
  • Customer & Innovation Leadership:
    Partner with teams to explore new technologies, products, and business models.
  • Support organization’s security and confidentiality commitments.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, corporate development, private equity or venture capital.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong analytical skills;
    PowerPoint fluency.
  • Effective communicator able to convey complex ideas clearly.
  • Experience building trusting relationships and influencing others.
  • Independent, self‑starter able to multitask in fast‑paced environments.
  • Background check and drug screen required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience at a top strategy consulting firm – McKinsey, BCG, Bain.
  • Fluency in financial, valuation, and quantitative analyses in Excel.
  • Experience in payments, risk insights, digital identity, banking or fintech.
  • Experience in complex strategic projects with financial services companies.
  • Additional related education or experience preferred.
Physical Requirements

Primarily sedentary office work; requires extensive computer use and occasional standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching. Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally. Requires visual acuity and dexterity. Ability to communicate with internal and external customers. Employees must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

The Base Pay Scale
  • Chicago, IL: $100,000 – $130,000 per year.
  • New York, NY / San Francisco, CA: $125,000 – $155,000 per year.
  • Additional incentive plan and benefits eligible.
