Compensation: $20/hr
About the RoleWe are seeking a reliable, detail‑oriented Porter to support daily office cleanliness, kitchen operations, and facilities upkeep. This role ensures our workplace is consistently tidy, stocked, welcoming, and running smoothly for employees and guests. The ideal candidate is punctual, takes pride in maintaining an organized environment, and is comfortable working independently.
Key Responsibilities General Office Cleaning & Upkeep- Maintain cleanliness of common areas including lobby, hallways, meeting rooms, restrooms, and work spaces.
- Wipe down surfaces, empty trash and recycling, and ensure the office is orderly throughout the day.
- Perform light cleaning duties (vacuuming, mopping, dusting, spot‑cleaning).
- Keep kitchen and breakroom areas clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Clean and sanitize counters, sinks, appliances, and tables.
- Load and unload dishwashers; hand‑wash items as needed.
- Monitor and restock pantry items such as beverages, snacks, utensils, cups, plates, and condiments.
- Prepare morning coffee and maintain coffee machines throughout the day.
- Ensure water dispensers, beverage fridges, and coffee stations remain clean and stocked.
- Track inventory levels for cleaning products, kitchen supplies, paper goods, toiletries, and office consumables.
- Refill supplies across the office (restrooms, kitchen, printer stations, etc.).
- Assist with receiving deliveries and stocking or organizing materials.
- Support minor facilities or handyman tasks (changing light bulbs, basic troubleshooting for appliances, etc.).
- Report maintenance or safety issues to the office manager promptly.
- Assist with meeting room setup and breakdown when needed.
- Prior experience in cleaning, facilities, hospitality, or similar roles preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean, professional environment.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lb and stand/move for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Positive attitude and willingness to be a helpful, proactive member of the team.
- 8 AM – 5 PM Monday to Friday
