Russell Tobin is seeking ambitious, energetic individuals for a Client Associate role. This position is perfect for recent graduates and athletes who thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and are looking to jumpstart their careers in client-facing project management and research.
In this role, you will manage end-to-end projects, mentor junior team members, and work directly with clients to deliver industry expertise through qualified subject matter experts. You will have the autonomy to drive sourcing strategies, screen and select experts, and ensure successful project outcomes. This position provides exposure to top-tier clients, including hedge funds, management consulting firms, and global enterprises, making it an excellent opportunity to develop analytical, strategic, and client management skills.
Key Responsibilities- Lead project management from start to finish, delegating tasks and managing client communications
- Identify, recruit, and deliver qualified experts to support client research
- Conduct preliminary industry research and develop sourcing strategies
- Mentor and support junior team members in project execution
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Compliance, Account Management, International) to grow client engagement
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in decisions impacting client projects and business operations
- Recent graduate or early-career professional; athlete background encouraged
- Strong academic record in any field
- 8+ months experience in business development, consulting, account management, or recruiting preferred
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Comfortable in KPI-driven, fast-paced environments and able to multitask independently
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to business opportunities
- Fluent in English; additional languages a plus
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Base salary: $65,000-$70,000 + uncapped bonus potential
