We are seeking an Associate to join our fast-growing financial services firm. This position offers an opportunity to join a dynamic group and leverage past experiences in public markets to advise Fortune 500 companies across various areas of their business.
RoleThe Associate will play a key supporting role across a variety of client engagements, working closely with Vice Presidents, Directors and other senior team members to conduct research, prepare materials, analyze data, and help develop insights and recommendations. This is a hands‑on role requiring intellectual curiosity, collaborative spirit, and strong execution skills.
Responsibilities- Providing direct support for senior leaders across various strategy engagements
- Creating and preparing analysis packets for clients outlining financial results, stock price performance, investor feedback, changes to institutional shareholder base, etc.
- Assisting in the drafting and development of client materials, including investor presentations, corporate press releases, letters to shareholders, investor fact sheets, Q&A documents and IR website content
- Tracking, reporting and analyzing client competitor business trends and financial results
- Monitoring published research and other sources to identify important industry trends
- Researching and identifying potential institutional investors for clients
- Developing and maintaining detailed financial models
- Creating and responding to various ad‑hoc information requests from clients
- Assisting in the prospecting and due diligence of new client opportunities
- Developing research materials for senior partners to drive new business activation by creating a clear understanding of the key issues facing potential clients
- Bachelor’s Degree required with a preference for Finance, Economics or Accounting
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
- Strong financial and analytical experience required
- Capital markets and/or research/investing experience a plus
- Comfort interacting with senior level executives of public companies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Capable of executing projects independently with limited supervision
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Experience working with Fact Set, Bloomberg or other market data providers
$110,000 starting base salary, plus annual discretionary bonus.
