Construction Procurement Manager

A well-established construction management and contracting firm in Manhattan is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead purchasing and sourcing across multiple projects. This role is about more than just negotiating pricing — it’s about building strong relationships not only with suppliers and vendors, but also with clients and owner representatives. The Procurement Manager will play a key role in anticipating material needs, keeping schedules on track, and ensuring smooth project execution.

With several active projects at once, excellent time management and coordination skills are essential.

• Oversee the full procurement lifecycle for construction materials, equipment, and services.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, clients, and owner representatives.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms to align with project and company goals.
• Monitor delivery schedules to ensure materials and equipment arrive on time.
• Partner with project managers and operations teams to forecast needs and align purchasing with timelines.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and reporting.
• Track market trends to anticipate supply chain challenges and identify opportunities.

• 5+ years of procurement experience (construction industry strongly preferred).
• Demonstrated success in supplier, client, and stakeholder relationship management.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities, with experience balancing multiple projects.
• Familiarity with procurement or project management software is a plus.
