** The Purpose of the Role
** The External Relations (ER) department was created in February 2020 and is comprised of 3 main but complementary functional areas:
Private fundraising, Communications and Advocacy. The ER department is at the beginning stages of creating a radical and ambitious global strategy that will enhance IRC’s ability to ‘punch above its weight’ in private income, advocacy, and brand awareness. The main objective of the department is to enable this organization of more than 12,000 staff to have the resources needed to continue serving 18 million people worldwide in places affected by war and disaster, shape the humanitarian sector by influencing key policies and reforms, and build and grow IRC’s reputation.

We are looking for an experienced and highly analytical Senior Data Analyst to join our team, focusing on marketing, financial and behavioral insights. As a Senior Analyst within our Global Analytics team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and driving data-driven insights for our fundraising efforts across the globe.

You will leverage your expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and reporting to guide the strategic decisions of our fundraising initiatives, ensuring that we continue to meet and exceed our goals. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, including fundraising, marketing, and finance, to deliver actionable insights that enhance donor engagement and maximize fundraising outcomes.
** Major Responsibilities**   '*
* • Data Analysis & Reporting:
** o    Analyze and interpret large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that inform global fundraising strategies.  o    Create and maintain dashboards, visualizations, and reports to track fundraising performance and donor engagement metrics.  o    Develop and deliver regular performance reports to key stakeholders, highlighting actionable insights and areas of opportunity for growth.  o    Develop comprehensive data models and reports for external benchmarking to assess performance against peers and identify opportunities for new investments.*
* • Strategic Insights & Recommendations:
** o    Collaborate with senior leadership to translate analytical findings into strategic recommendations for improving fundraising effectiveness.  o    Provide insights that influence global fundraising campaigns, donor retention strategies, and personalized donor experiences.*

Collaboration:

** o    Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., fundraising, marketing, and finance) to ensure data-driven decisions are integrated into the global strategy.  o    Present findings to senior management, explaining complex data insights in a clear and actionable manner.*
