Manager, Sales Development

Join Miter, a fast‑growing construction technology company, to lead our front‑line sales development team. Miter builds AI‑powered, embedded‑payments platforms that modernize the core HR, finance, and operations systems for construction contractors.

Base pay range

$/yr - $/yr

Hybrid vs. Remote Approach

Miter values in‑office collaboration for hybrid roles: three days a week at either our New York City or San Francisco office. Remote or other‑city roles have no hybrid requirement, though annual onboarding and off‑site trips are expected.

About the Team & How We Work

You’ll lead a Sales Development team that drives outbound growth. Your responsibilities include coaching, strategy refinement, and partnering with sales leadership. With a new geographic territory model, you’ll help the team focus on specific markets, experiment with outreach strategies, and build deep market knowledge.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing sales development team, ensuring continuous professional growth.
  • Drive revenue and quota attainment for the team and individual representatives.
  • Utilize data and CRM to monitor activity, conduct pipeline reviews, and guide performance improvements.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, performance recognition, and inclusion.
  • Identify sales process bottlenecks and recommend efficiency improvements.
What You’ll Need
  • 2+ years of quota‑carrying experience as an individual contributor with a proven track record of exceeding goals.
  • 1+ year of experience building and leading sales development teams with consistent success.
  • Experience in fast‑paced, results‑oriented GTM environments.
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills with excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency with GTM tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, and Zoom Info.
  • Ability to leverage data for strategic decisions and process optimization.
  • A passion for intentional team development.
