Merchant Payments Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients that use Cervion for Merchant Services.
• Identify areas of opportunity for revenue building within the portfolio.
• Daily review and analysis of merchant processing statements for both existing merchants as well as prospects.
• Work with and assist the sales team to generate and close new business.
• Oversee and optimize our merchant processing standards and operations; oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the merchant processing department.
• Continuously build knowledge of all things merchant processing and stay up to date on important items within the payments industry.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with our merchant partners and vendors.
• Support the Sales & Executive Teams.

• 4‑year degree from an accredited institution in Business or Finance.
• 5+ years of experience in a payment processing role.
• Advanced knowledge of payment processing regulations and compliance.
• Prior experience managing a portfolio of merchant processing accounts.
• Ability to read and interpret a merchant processing statement.
• A team player who can easily interact with others.
• A quick learner with good work habits.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Works well under pressure and can handle unexpected events positively.
