Are you a skilled Electronics Repair Technician looking to work within the New York elevator market?

Barts Elevator Inc – recently merged with UK-based NDC Inc – is entering an exciting new chapter, with this role offering a rare opportunity to be part of that transformation.

We’re looking for a hands-on Electronic Repair Technician to join our expert team at our new fully equipped Midtown, Manhattan-based repair facility.

This is a workshop-based position, ideal for someone with a technical mindset, strong soldering skills, and a passion for fault-finding and component-level repair.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess elevator electronic assemblies
  • Perform detailed fault diagnosis to component level
  • Conduct precise soldering and component replacement (soldering is a daily requirement)
  • Source and purchase replacement components
  • Testing of assemblies post-repair
  • Work on varied, complex repairs in a supportive team environment
What You’ll Bring
  • A technical qualification or 3+ years’ hands-on experience in a similar electronics repair role
  • Previous experience in laptop or other consumer electronic is an advantage
  • GED or equivalent
  • Excellent soldering and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities
  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to pass background checks
