The mission of the Mercedes-Benz Manhattan Night Roadside Technician is to be responsible for roadside service, diagnosis, and repair of vehicles assigned by MBUSA Roadside or MBM Service management. The technician should have a general knowledge of automotive repair.
Responsibilities
The Night Roadside Technician must deliver an outstanding brand and customer experience through excellent preparation, attitude, and teamwork. Responsibilities include maintaining the Night Roadside Assistance truck and tools, responding promptly to RAP pages, maintaining personal grooming and uniform standards, handling transactions, performing roadside calls and repairs, and maintaining safety and inventory standards.
Additional duties involve completing repairs as trained, participating in technical training, producing quality work, ensuring the vehicle's cleanliness upon return, adhering to work schedules, demonstrating courtesy, achieving productivity goals, reviewing technical bulletins, completing paperwork, using supplies economically, communicating effectively, and reporting safety concerns. The pay rate is $25-$29/hour.
QualificationsApplicants should have a High School Diploma or GED, general automotive repair knowledge, ability to commute daily into Manhattan, physical capability for the role, and a valid driver’s license.
