Location: New York

A well-established financial services firm in New York City is seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of its corporate office. This role will be responsible for ensuring the workplace runs efficiently, managing administrative staff, and coordinating facilities, vendors, and internal office initiatives.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of office operations in a fast-paced professional environment.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of a corporate office, ensuring a seamless and well-organized workplace.
  • Manage and support a small team of administrative professionals.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with building management, facilities teams, and external vendors.
  • Coordinate office maintenance, facilities needs, and ongoing workplace projects.
  • Track and manage office budgets, invoices, and vendor contracts.
  • Plan and execute internal meetings, employee events, and office-wide initiatives.
  • Provide operational support across multiple departments and levels of the organization.
  • Identify opportunities to improve office processes and overall workplace experience.
Qualifications
  • Prior Office Manager, Facilities, or Workplace Operations experience within a corporate environment
  • Experience managing office operations, vendors, and building relationships with facilities teams (HVAC management experience preferred).
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset
  • Experience managing budgets, invoices, and vendor contracts
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
