Position: an administrative assistant/receptionist at an international bank
Location: New York

Receptionist Duties

  • Provide an excellent customer care service.
  • Answer Telephone calls.
  • Manage mails and deliveries.
  • Distribute incoming newspapers & periodicals/ mail / faxes / messages.
  • Arrange catering when required.
  • Welcome visitors, control visitors book and issue access cards.
  • A ssist during client and staff meetings.
  • Manage the room booking diary.
Administrative Duties
  • Cooperate and collaborate with office supply companies.
  • Perform various office administration tasks and ad hoc duties as required.
  • Make travel /hotel and restaurant arrangements as needed.
  • Ensure the reception area is presented to the very best standards.
  • Updating employees directory.
  • Reporting any building related issues to property management office.
  • Keeping the kitchen/pantry stocked with supplies.
  • Expatriate or Delegation support, including travel and arranging and attending functions.
Requirements
  • Process oriented with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to control.
  • Strong and flexible team player with good oral and written communication skills. Good understanding of receptionist activities
  • Have good organizational skills.
  • Good Microsoft Office computer skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Concern for accuracy and ability to meet tight deadlines
