Location: New York

Non profit organization with Manhattan seeks a temporary Program Coordinator to support a team. Must be able to handle conflicting priorities across various teams. The ideal candidate will have at least a few years of experience with program management and grants.

Hybrid role, 4 days in office

Hours:

9-5

Pay $35-40/hr

6 month contract with possible extension

Responsibilities
  • Support the team with coordination and administrative needs, contributing to impactful projects.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations across grant administration, research, and coordination tasks.
  • Engage in research and analysis and prepare background materials, memos, and communications for internal and external engagements.
  • Document stakeholder engagements using Salesforce and support internal communication efforts.
  • Provide logistical support for meetings, including researching invitees and managing invitations.
  • Track timelines and coordinate contributors for priorities.
  • Support internal communications and contribute to team projects collaboratively.
  • Perform additional assigned duties to ensure smooth team operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in public health, public policy, business, or related field.
  • Minimum three years of experience, with five years preferred.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and grant management tools.
  • Strong project management skills, particularly in logistics and event coordination.
  • Basic research and analytical abilities with clear summarization skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative mindset and adaptability to team dynamics.
  • Commitment to the mission and values of the organization.
