Position OverviewWe are seeking a friendly, dependable, and professional Part-Time Receptionist to join our team during the evening shift. As the first point of contact for visitors, residents, and staff, the Receptionist plays an important role in creating a warm, welcoming environment while helping maintain smooth day-to-day operations within our skilled nursing facility.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and assist residents, families, visitors, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and accurately
- Monitor the front desk and facility entrance to ensure a safe and secure environment
- Provide general information and assistance to visitors and staff
- Manage visitor sign-in procedures and maintain accurate logs
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
- Perform light administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and data entry
- Communicate important information to nursing staff and management when needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
- Support the team in creating a positive experience for residents and their families
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Professional demeanor with a friendly, approachable attitude
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer and phone system skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Previous receptionist, customer service, or healthcare experience preferred but not required
