Location: New York

Nader Kash is seeking a highly organized and proactive Diamond & Jewelry Operations Assistant to support daily office operations. This role combines operational support, administrative coordination, and front desk responsibilities. The ideal candidate has a background in diamond grading and is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable managing a variety of tasks.

Key Responsibilities Inventory and Operational Support
  • Authenticate loose diamonds by matching GIA laser inscriptions under magnification.
  • Process product returns and verify them within the internal system.
  • Process physical diamond and jewelry certificates, including labeling, logging, filing, and sending as required.
  • Upload and organize invoices in the company system, adding notes where applicable.
  • Check and manage product memos.
  • Upload daily return memos and maintain backups on external hard drives.
Shipping and Logistics
  • Pack and ship outgoing packages accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare various shipping labels and coordinate armored shipments
  • Log, track, and organize incoming and outgoing domestic and international packages
Front Desk and Reception
  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
  • Manage visitor access and greet guests.
  • Assist with general reception and administrative support tasks as needed.
Office Operations
  • Receive, log, and unpack incoming packages and deliveries, coordinating with team members as needed.
  • Order and track office and operational supplies, coordinating with different departments to fulfill specific needs.
  • Manage daily office opening duties, including preparing and maintaining shared equipment such as the dishwasher, coffee machine, printer, and jewelry steamer/ultrasonic.
Qualifications
  • Diamond identification via microscope
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Comfortable handling administrative systems and digital file organization.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting a team environment.
  • Prior administrative, operations, or office assistant experience preferred.
