The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
ResponsibilitiesThe program coordinator's responsibility is for the day-to-day administration of the pediatric residency and fellowship training programs. The program coordinator assists the Program Director, Medical Education Manager and the Director of Fellowships in maintaining the educational quality of the pediatric residency and fellowship training programs. The administrator should be knowledgeable about the ACGME compliance and regulatory requirements of the pediatric training programs.
Responsibilities will be split 50% between the core and fellowship programs.
General Responsibilities For The Core Residency Program:
- Utilizes advanced computer and technical skills to streamline the residency program processes and tasks, including updating online databases related to the program current and alumni trainees.
- ACGME/ADS
- AAP
- ERAS
- Med Hub
- Serves as a resource for all residency and fellowship program initiatives, questions and issues.
- Responsible for day-to-day administrative activities related to residents; vacation/sick leave, credentialing, licensure and In-Training exams, and processing new/continuing/separating allocation forms.
- Coordinates and assists with educational activities (conference monitoring, arranging speakers, tracking work hour and duty hour compliance, scheduling and managing outside hospital rotators).
- Assists in annual residency recruiting activities (preparation, setup, document preparation, etc.).
- Assists with event planning: audio/visual needs, and catering for meetings, conferences, events, certificate luncheons, and graduation dinners.
- Assists with Clinical Competency Committee and Program Evaluation Committee meetings for the residency program.
- Supports and works closely with the Program Director, leadership team and the remainder of the administrative team for the residency program.
- Performs related duties and responsibilities as assigned/requested.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education and experience required; plus three years of related experience.
- Experience in higher education administration.
