Scheduling Specialist

Compensation: $26-$30 per hour

Job Type: Full-Time, Monday-Friday.

NY State Solar designs, builds, and sells quality solar systems throughout New York. Our focus is to provide an outstanding customer experience and deliver a high quality PV system. Dedicated to helping New York become economically and environmentally sustainable.

The Scheduling Specialist will ensure all project milestones are met, resources are allocated effectively, and installations are completed on time.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage schedules for all solar energy installation projects, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Work with project managers, engineers, and installers to allocate resources and ensure timelines are adhered to.
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments to schedules as needed. Provide regular reports on project timelines to stakeholders.
  • Identify potential delays or scheduling conflicts and proactively resolve them before they affect project timelines.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure materials and services are available when needed.
  • Keep accurate records of all scheduling information, changes, and updates for internal tracking and reporting.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in operations, project management, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a scheduler or project coordinator, ideally in the construction or renewable energy industry.
  • Proficiency with scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Procore, or similar).
  • Strong communication skills for coordination with internal teams and external contractors.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
