About

The Role

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Part-Time Office Manager to keep our office running smoothly and efficiently. This role is ideal for someone organized, proactive, and enjoys supporting a team through hands‑on office coordination. The Office Manager will be responsible for day‑to‑day office operations, vendor coordination, and administrative support for the management team.

We are looking for someone on a part‑time basis in the office 4‑5 days a week, for 2‑4 hours a day (10‑20 hours a week, but can offer more hours if needed). Our office is located in Midtown East – NYC.

Key Responsibilities Office Operations & Organization
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑functioning office environment
  • Stock and manage kitchen supplies, snacks, beverages, and general office inventory
  • Monitor office supplies and place orders as needed
  • Oversee printer functionality, coordinate maintenance, and ensure supplies (paper, toner) are stocked
Administrative & Management Support
  • Print, prepare, and organize documents for the management team
  • Assist with coordinating and preparing for meetings (room setup, materials, refreshments)
  • Help keep shared spaces, storage areas, and office systems organized
Building & Facilities Coordination
  • Coordinate work orders and maintenance requests with building management
  • Serve as a point of contact for building‑related issues
  • Manage and maintain the building guest list as needed
Mail & Package Management
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages
  • Prepare outgoing mail and shipments when required
General Support
  • Assist with special projects and ad‑hoc administrative tasks
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve office efficiency and organization
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in an office management, administrative, or operations role preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
  • Proficient with basic office technology (printers, email, calendars, document handling)
  • Professional, friendly, and service‑oriented demeanor
Working Conditions & Compensation

This position operates as part of a US East Coast‑based team, with typical working hours aligning with EST to facilitate effective collaboration. We offer flexibility in managing your schedule to maintain a healthy work‑life balance while meeting business needs.
