Location: New York, NY 10003 (On-site)
Pay Rate: $28.00 – $38.00 / hour (W2 Only)
Duration: 3 Months (With potential for extension)

The OpportunityWe are seeking a mission-driven Program Administrator to support a leading School of Social Work in strengthening its student experience and professional readiness portfolio. This role is central to executing initiatives across five core pillars:
Social Work Readiness, Access & Affordability, Community Care, Civic Fluency, and Community Life.
Reporting to the Associate Dean, you will ensure that the "implicit curriculum"—the way students learn and relate within the community—is grounded in core social work values and CSWE competencies.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Coordination (30%): Lead the planning and scheduling of initiatives including career design workshops, civic engagement, and transition supports. Maintain project timelines and track milestones to ensure alignment with school-wide strategic priorities.
- Access & Affordability (20%): Assist in designing programs to address barriers to education. Conduct accessibility audits and contribute data-driven insights to existing funds and reimbursement initiatives (e.g., Practicum Onboarding).
- Civic Fluency Infrastructure (20%): Manage operations and communications for readiness-driven workshops and dialogue-building experiences. Partner with university-wide colleagues to advance civic literacy and inclusive dialogue.
- Data & Assessment (15%): Collect and summarize qualitative and quantitative data regarding student participation and engagement trends. Prepare reports to inform strategic planning for the Associate Dean.
- Communications & Supervision (15%): Support the creation of newsletters, promotional materials, and website updates. Supervise student employees, establishing schedules and reviewing work for accuracy.
Skills & Qualifications
- Education & Mission: Strong alignment with social work core values and an understanding of CSWE competencies. Experience in Social Work education is a major plus.
- Administrative Mastery: Proven ability to manage complex project timelines and coordinate day-to-day activities for a high-functioning executive office.
- Data Proficiency: High comfort level collecting and organizing engagement data to create visual and written reports.
- Communication: Exceptional student-facing skills; ability to communicate with diverse populations with empathy and professionalism.
- Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and university-scale communication tools.
