Location: New York

POSITION: Executive Assistant to Credit Team

LOCATION: New York, NY (In Office 5 days a week Monday-Friday)

COMPENSATION: $150–$170K DOE + discretionary bonus + excellent benefits

HOURS: 8:30am – 5:30pm (with flexibility as needed)

BACHELOR’S DEGREE: Preferred

Our client, a dynamic private equity firm, is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support part of their credit team. This role will support four Partners, one Managing Director, and one Vice President.
It is a senior-level position supporting senior investment professionals. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and has a minimum of 5–7 years of executive support experience within financial services or another professional industry. This fast-moving team offers the opportunity to be part of a highly collaborative environment and work alongside a strong group of professionals. The role requires exceptional communication and organizational skills, a positive team-player mindset and strong work ethic.

This position is five days in the office.

Responsibilities
  • Manage complex, high-volume calendars for senior investment professionals across multiple time zones
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel, including itineraries and last-minute changes
  • Prepare and reconcile expense reports, resolving discrepancies with internal finance teams
  • Enter and maintain accurate data in Deal Cloud and internal systems
  • Schedule internal meetings and support related logistics and materials
  • Partner with another Executive Assistant and an Administrative Assistant to ensure consistent coverage and support
  • Maintain organized digital files, calendars, and records
  • Provide general executive and administrative support, including ad hoc requests and limited personal assistance
Requirements
  • 7+ years of executive assistant experience within the financial services industry
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to manage high-pressure situations and competing priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
  • Strong judgment, discretion, and professionalism
  • Ability to work flexible hours when needed, including occasional after-hours support
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset
