Executive Housekeeper – UHNW Private Residence
An Ultra‑High‑Net‑Worth family is seeking an experienced, highly professional Executive Housekeeper to support the housekeeping operations for their residences in the Hamptons and New York City. This individual will maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, organization, and service, and will contribute to a respectful, discreet, and well‑coordinated household environment.
Position OverviewDuring the summer season, the Executive Housekeeper will be based at the family’s Hamptons residence, where offsite housing accommodations will be provided. Beginning approximately the end of September, the role will transition to a live‑out position at the family’s Upper East Side home. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in formal, private households; demonstrates excellent judgment; and possesses the ability to anticipate needs with professionalism and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities- Perform hands‑on housekeeping with exceptional attention to detail
- Manage laundry and ironing, including care of fine garments and linens
- Maintain household organization and ensure smooth daily operations
- Oversee and coordinate vendor and service provider activity
- Run errands, manage household inventories, and procure supplies
Provide occasional meal service as required - Offer light pet care for the family dog
- Maintain a child‑friendly presence, though no direct childcare is required
- Travel for short, occasional periods to Florida during winter months, if needed
- Collaborate effectively as part of a professional household team
- Previous experience working in formal UHNW households is required
- Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Professionalism, discretion, and a high level of personal integrity
- Proactive, service‑oriented mindset with the ability to anticipate needs
- Team‑oriented, respectful, and adaptable to changing household priorities
- Comfortable working around pets
- Flexibility to support occasional weekend needs with advance notice
- Commitment to a long‑term role
- Valid driver’s license required
- New York City (October–April):
- Flexibility required for schedule changes, weekends, and brief travel assignments
