Overview

Our client is a stable and well-regarded nonprofit organization seeking a Receptionist or Administrative Assistant to join their team in Manhattan. This hybrid role offers a pleasant, professional work environment where you will collaborate with smart, engaged colleagues. The position serves as the front desk point of contact while providing administrative support, including assisting with conference room coordination, calendaring, and scheduling.

Job Responsibilities
  • Greet visitors, answer phone calls, and manage visitor access.
  • Coordinate, set up, and prepare conference rooms for meetings.
  • Provide hospitality and front-desk support in a dynamic office environment of approximately 20 employees.
  • Provide administrative support to program staff, including calendar management and coordination of on-site meeting spaces.
  • Communicate with external partners and assist with travel arrangements.
  • Coordinate catering and materials for in-office meetings and events.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years in a receptionist, administrative, or customer service role, preferably in a professional or high-net-worth environment. Recent graduates with relevant experience will be considered.
  • Familiarity and comfort with navigating various office technologies, including computers, printers, software, and video conferencing systems.
