A leading Top 200 law firm in New York City is seeking a Billing Specialist to support its growing billing team. This is a new role created due to an internal promotion. It offers strong growth potential and exposure to complex billing for multiple partners.

• Manage full‑cycle billing for 10+ partners each month.
• Review and edit pre‑bills; finalize invoices with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ensure compliance with all client billing guidelines and resolve e‑billing issues.
• Monitor WIP, support accrual reporting, and communicate directly with partners.
• Assist team members, provide coverage as needed, and support special projects.
• Collaborate with Collections to address AR and unapplied cash items.

• 2–3 years of law firm billing experience (any firm size welcome).
• Aderant Classic experience is a plus —
  any billing software experience accepted
  .
• Strong Excel skills; ability to read/edit LEDES files preferred.
• Highly organized, detail‑focused, and comfortable working with attorneys and staff.
• Capable of meeting deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

$80,000 – $100,000 base salary (NYC), commensurate with experience and internal equity.
