Client OverviewOur client, a prestigious law firm headquartered in Midtown Manhattan, is seeking a sharp, experienced, and highly discreet Legal Assistant to support two Partners and their team of Associates. The firm specializes in high‑stakes commercial litigation, investigations, and appellate advocacy.
Salary/Hourly Rate$40/hr – $45/hr
Position OverviewThe Legal Assistant will provide dedicated support to two Partners and their Associates, handling a wide range of high‑level administrative responsibilities with professionalism and confidentiality. The ideal candidate is exceptionally organized, resourceful, and capable of anticipating needs before they arise. This role requires superior communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage complex schedules and priorities.
Responsibilities Of The Legal Assistant- Arrange complex travel arrangements and create detailed itineraries for assigned attorneys.
- Order catering for meetings as necessary.
- Process and track vendor/client invoices in the firm’s check request system and resolve any billing issues.
- Reconcile attorney accounts every week.
- Submit expenses for reimbursement.
- Minimum 5 years as an Executive Assistant in legal environments.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
- Flexible, detail‑oriented, dependable and proactive.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
