Job Summary
The Executive Assistant (EA) to the CEO provides high-level administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer, serving as a trusted partner in managing executive priorities, scheduling, communications, and highly confidential information. This role acts as a key liaison between the CEO and internal and external stakeholders and ensures the smooth, efficient operation of the Executive Office.
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide high-level administrative support to the CEO, including comprehensive calendar management, scheduling meetings, appointments, events, and coordinating travel arrangements
Prepare agendas, presentation materials, briefing documents, and follow-up items for meetings and executive presentations
Draft, edit, and format correspondence, reports, and presentations on behalf of the CEO
Assist with preparation, coordination, and distribution of Board materials, including meeting logistics and minutes
Serve as a professional and positive ambassador of the Executive Office when interacting with staff, board members, donors, and external partners
Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and sound judgment
Support special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum of five (5) years of experience supporting C-suite or senior-level executives
Experience with in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization strongly preferred
