We are looking for a part-time Front Desk Clerk who will be responsible for assisting in overall administration of the center which includes but is not limited to the following: crowd control and management of lobby area, professional use of phones, membership registration, documentation of member and staff attendance, distribution of program information to youth, parents and visitors, and other administrative duties as assigned by the center director.

Your responsibilities
:

  • Receiving and placing telephone calls
  • Carry out correspondence according to prescribed style and format
  • Interface with customers in a friendly manner and provide service quickly and accurately
  • Provide support on diverse employee projects as necessary
  • Provide a warm environment to customers
  • Supporting the duties of the front desk and reception
  • Demonstrate command of such tasks as data entry, faxing, copying, scanning, filing, and word processing
  • Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills
  • Efficient in handling office equipment
  • Data cleansing experience
  • Scanning experience desired
  • Word and Excel experience preferred
  • 1 Year of Office Clerk experience at minimum suggested
  • Applicants must apply with a high school diploma or its equivalent
  • Strong organization skills
  • Be creative, adaptive, and eager to learn new technical skill sets
  • Ability to multitask, collaborate and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds in a fast-paced environment

Minimum Qualifications
:

  • Must be strong in database maintenance/upkeep
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Quick Books
  • Strong and accurate accounting skills are preferred, previous accounting clerk experience a plus
  • 70% of job is data entry, must be able to sit for long periods of time
