Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Location with zip code: Queens, NY 11105
Duration: Temp-to-Hire (after a min. of 520 hrs. worked)
Pay Rate: $20/hr on w2 without benefits
Shift Timing: Standard Mon-Fri (8 am to 5 pm)
Job DescriptionOur client is looking for an Administrative Aide to assist with their renewable energy project teams.
Role & Responsibilities- Perform Data Entry.
- Answer heavy incoming calls.
- Log and track calls utilizing MS Excel.
- Must have intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills.
- Must have previous customer service experience.
- Must have patience and be able to handle difficult customers while remaining calm on the phone.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
- Must have great communication skills (both over the phone and email).
- Will work with vendors to track down and receive shipments on orders for various equipment.
- High School diploma or GED required. No college degree required however it's a plus!
- A minimum of 2 years of related experience is required.
- Previous experience with a utility company, renewable energy or solar is a BIG PLUS!
- This position is required to work out of our clients office in Astoria full time so candidates applying must be local.
