Overview

  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment.
  • Manage switchboard operations, directing calls efficiently and accurately to appropriate departments.
  • Assist clients with basic requests, including document printing and coordination with internal service teams.
  • Provide support during weekend shifts, maintaining a calm and organized reception area.
  • Participate in training sessions to ensure familiarity with procedures and expectations.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to the established dress code at all times.
  • Opportunity to pick up additional weekday hours if desired.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
  • Welcome and escort guests to designated areas, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Answer and manage incoming calls on the switchboard, providing accurate information and routing.
  • Assist with client requests, including document handling and service coordination.
  • Ensure the reception area remains organized and presentable at all times.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address guest and client needs promptly.
  • Adhere to the dress code and maintain a professional demeanor consistently.
  • Provide weekend reception coverage, managing quiet periods effectively.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of procedures.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree required, showcasing educational proficiency.
  • Minimum of 1 year of traditional reception experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and clients.
  • Self-motivated and driven personality, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new procedures and environments.
  • Professional appearance and adherence to dress code standards.
  • Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and training sessions.
  • Capability to manage switchboard operations efficiently and accurately.
