About This Role

Primary Venture Partners is seeking a friendly and organized Part-Time Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our New York City office. This role is perfect for someone seeking a flexible schedule while gaining experience in a dynamic venture capital environment. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, managing incoming calls, coordinating meeting logistics, and ensuring the office reception area is presentable. What

you’ll do
  • Warmly welcome and greet all visitors, clients, and partners, ensuring they have a seamless and enjoyable experience upon arrival

  • Manage conference room scheduling and availability

  • Provide a best in class office experience to our employees and guests

  • Ensure the kitchen and common spaces are tidy, and that the pantry is stocked

  • As the heartbeat of the environment we create here, you will maintain conference rooms to our standards, and keep the kitchen and common areas clean and professional

  • When needed, provide back-up support to other administrative staff

  • Ad hoc duties and special projects as assigned

About you
  • 2+ years of administrative or related experience

  • Hospitality obsessed

  • Ability to be discreet with sensitive or confidential information

  • Proficient in Google & MS Office suites

  • Impeccable communication skills, organized and detail oriented

  • Ability to work in a team environment or independently

  • A friendly and "nothing is beneath me" attitude is key!

Logistics
  • Days:
    Tuesday-Thursday

  • Hours:

    8:00am-4:00pm

  • This is an in-person position based out of our NYC HQ

  • Compensation: $18-22/hr

  • Flexibility for overtime if needed
