Executive Assistant to Partner and Team (Temp-to-Perm)

Base pay range: $40.00/hr - $50.00/hr

COMPANY: Private Equity Firm

POSITION: Temp-to-Perm Executive Assistant to Partner and Team

LOCATION: Midtown Manhattan (hybrid: 2–3 days in office/week with flexibility as needed)

COMPENSATION: $40-50/hour range to start with the opportunity to turn permanent

HOURS: 8:30–5:30pm (flexibility required)

Our client, a leading private equity firm, is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support a Fund Partner and a small team of executives within its New York City office on a temporary basis with the opportunity to turn permanent. This is a senior‑level role for a highly motivated professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, international environment and excels at managing shifting priorities across time zones.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the financial services industry and will be an exceptional communicator adept at balancing strategic partnership with hands‑on execution. The role requires strong judgment, autonomy, and collaboration, as well as the ability to anticipate needs and maintain composure under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a strong understanding of executives’ goals and priorities, using foresight and initiative to manage time and workflow effectively.
  • Handle complex calendar management across multiple executives, coordinating meetings across time zones and shifting priorities.
  • Coordinate detailed international travel, including multi‑leg itineraries and last‑minute changes.
  • Lead planning and logistics for key meetings, events, and team offsites.
  • Serve as a main point of contact between executives and internal/external stakeholders, including investors, portfolio companies, and senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with fellow개 Executive Assistants to ensure seamless coverage and consistent support across the team.
  • Provide mentorship and share best practices with junior assistants to support team development.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as processing expenses and invoices and maintaining CRM records.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience providing senior‑level executive support.
  • Background in private equity, financial services, or another fast‑paced, high‑performing environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.
  • Experience managing complex projects, budgets, events, and multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Highly organized with exceptional time management and calendar coordination abilities.
  • Collaborative, intuitive team player who builds strong relationships across teams and locations.
  • Experience with Deal Cloud andохожие Concur preferred.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and calm under pressure, with a positive, professional demeanor.
  • Discreet and trustworthy in handling confidential information.
