Seneca Holdings is seeking an Events Coordinator. This role will support the Marketing and Communication department's initiatives with the planning and execution of internal company events, including retreats, summits, meetings, and socials. This position is flexible with working out of our Alleghany office and working remotely. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
* Support the full-life cycle of event coordination, including venue sourcing, coordination and management, travel/accommodation arrangements, on-site execution, itinerary creation, budget tracking & reconciliation and post-event reporting.
* Assist in the ideation and execution of successful on-territory immersion programs that support the company mission and enhance connection among event participants. Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams, external vendors, & executive stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of events.
* Conduct all business in accordance with Seneca policies and procedures.
* All other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
* Some college experience required
* 1-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or related field
* Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
* Strong verbal communication skills
* Proficient in MS Office Suite, and Teams
* Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide solution-based alternatives to stakeholders and internal/external partners
* Excellent customer service skills and ability to build relationships with decision makers at a variety of levels
* Must be a self-starter and able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
* Occasional travel may be required Physical Activities & Requirements
* Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
* Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, computer printer, etc.
* Requires repetitive motion associated with heavy computer use.
* Must be able to stand or work on your feet for extended periods of time. Salary at Seneca is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The range of this position in other geographic locations may differ. The projected compensation range for this position is below.
