Administrative Project Coordinator (Administrative Coordinator) – Campus Facilities

The City University of New York (CUNY), LaGuardia Community College, invites applications for the Administrative Project Coordinator (Administrative Coordinator) – Campus Facilities role.

Position Details

Founded in 1971 in Long Island City, Queens, LaGuardia Community College is one of seven community colleges in the CUNY system. It offers more than sixty associate degree programs and a variety of workforce, ESOL, GED, and pre‑college programs. In 2023, LaGuardia served approximately 24,000 students, with over one‑third born outside the United States, representing 136 countries and speaking 43 heritage languages.

Sixty percent are first‑generation college students.

Duties
  • Organizes, maintains, and updates project‑related documents.
  • Prepares project reports, status updates, and other documentation for the project manager.
  • Interprets and evaluates project documents, obtains feedback from facility occupants, and reports information to the project manager.
  • Updates and maintains safety and security policies.
  • Coordinates all procurement policy requirements to ensure integrity and timely purchase of services and goods.
  • Updates documents using project management software such as Autodesk or Microsoft Project.
  • Provides sketches and diagrams to assist in the development and coordination of projects.
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $48,647 – $72,236, commensurate with education and experience. CUNY benefits include health plans, retirement and pension benefits, tuition waivers for CUNY graduate study, generous paid time off, and access to academic, arts, and athletic programs.
