SUMMARY
The Drop-ship and Purchasing Specialist will determine daily Ship Direct purchase order (PO) creation, process EDI transactions, and liaise with the Resource Contact Center regarding drop-ship inquiries.

• Daily release of drop-ship PO’s to vendors for fulfillment.
• Liaise with vendors on replenishment and Ship Direct PO status.
• Liaise with RCC/CE on inquiries and statuses for Ship Direct POs.
• Process daily EDI transmissions.
• Daily processing of drop-ship invoices for all vendors.
• Weekly processing of UPS invoice files.
• Other tasks as directed by supervisor.

• Demonstrated aptitude for independent decision making.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Effective communication with all levels of the organization.
• Effective communication with vendor community.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience with PO creation and administration.
