Under supervision, performs miscellaneous clerical, administrative, research or other work related to the operation of a College or other unit where such work is required on a part‑time basis or for a period of limited duration.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine clerical work: answer telephone calls; maintain records; operate office machines (e.g., copier); sort and distribute mail; issue keys and identity cards; act as messenger.
- Type letters, memoranda, charts, and similar materials.
- Act as cashier.
- Assist in statistical or research activities: collect, compile, code data for computer entry; perform data entry; run computer reports.
- Perform clerical library work: sort and shelve books; enter data into library systems; bind books and periodicals.
- Assist in instructional programs, including tutoring and assisting students in reading, mathematics, speech and hearing therapy, musical accompaniment, or physical education equipment distribution.
- Enter and maintain departmental records such as inventory control records, rosters, directories, and schedules.
- Operate computers, computer software, and other electronic equipment as assigned.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Must demonstrate sufficient skills to perform the duties of the assigned tasks.
- Must speak Russian, Georgian, and English.
$19.12 – $20.00 an hour.
