Global Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

Kforce's client, a global fintech organization serving large institutional investors and financial intermediaries located in NYC, is seeking to expand its Corporate Accounting team with a Global Accounting Manager.

Summary:

This company provides technology-driven platforms and analytics that support trading, market connectivity, and pricing transparency across international financial markets. With a strong presence in North America, Europe, and Asia, the firm is recognized for combining deep market expertise with modern technology to improve how institutions access liquidity and execute transactions. This role will play a key leadership position supporting the monthly and quarterly close process, expense accounting, technical accounting matters, and multi-entity global operations.

The Accounting Manager will manage and mentor staff, partner cross-functionally with Finance and business teams, and help drive operational excellence in a fast-paced public company environment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who actively participates in the close process and complex accounting matters while ensuring accuracy, accountability, and timely delivery.

• CPA and Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience (public accounting or public company experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Experience with multi-entity environments, multi-currency accounting, expense accounting, and variance analysis
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills
• Experience with SOX compliance
• Ability to mentor staff and collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment

• Public company experience
• Experience with ERP systems, automation tools, or financial reporting platforms
• Exposure to system implementations or accounting transformation initiatives

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
