We have partnered with our client in their search for a Accounting Manager Interim - New York, NY (Onsite).
About the CompanyOur client is a rapidly growing AI-driven sales and go-to-market data platform headquartered in New York City
. With approximately 200 employees and expanding quickly, they are building out their internal operations function and seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to help support their growth trajectory.
As the Accounting Manager, you will play a key role in managing daily accounting operations, strengthening financial processes, and supporting a fast scaling organization. This is a hands‑on role on a small but growing team, ideal for someone who thrives in high‑growth tech environments and enjoys building structure in an evolving function.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, payroll coordination, month‑end close, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls.
- Partner with leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Streamline accounting systems, tools, and workflows as the company scales.
- Support external audits and tax filings.
- Contribute to developing policies and scalable processes for a growing finance organization.
- 5-7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong foundation in core accounting functions and GAAP.
- Experience in fast-growing or high-growth environments.
- Proficiency with modern accounting systems (e.g., Net Suite, Quick Books, or similar).
- Ability to work onsite in New York City, Monday-Friday

- Experience in tech, SaaS, AI, or data-driven platform environments.
- Prior experience in small, scaling teams where processes are still being built.
