Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full Charge Bookkeeper to join a well-established, family-owned business in Clifton Park, New York.
This role offers an opportunity for long-term growth and stability while managing essential financial operations. The ideal candidate will bring their expertise in bookkeeping and accounting to ensure seamless financial processes.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of full charge bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Perform accurate bank account and credit card reconciliations on a regular basis.
- Utilize Quick Books Online to maintain organized financial records and streamline accounting processes.
- Oversee the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.
- Prepare and post journal entries to support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Handle computerized accounting systems to maintain efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Conduct detailed account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure timely and precise processing of payroll for all employees.
- Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Maintain compliance with accounting standards and regulations throughout all processes.
Requirements - Proven experience in full charge bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Proficiency with Quick Books Online and other computerized accounting systems.
- Strong knowledge of general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Familiarity with bank account and credit card reconciliation processes.
- Ability to manage month-end and year-end closing procedures independently.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and management.
- Commitment to maintaining accuracy and confidentiality in financial records.
