Junior Accountant​/Accounting Assistant

Beacon Hill Financial is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant/Accounting Assistant with at least one year of accounting experience to support day-to-day financial operations. This role is ideal for an early-career accounting professional looking to grow their skills in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

• Assist with general ledger maintenance and journal entries
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Help prepare financial reports and schedules
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records
• Support audits and respond to accounting-related inquiries
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

• 1+ year of accounting or related experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Basic understanding of GAAP principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Good written and verbal communication skills
