A rapidly growing Fin-tech company is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its expanding finance team. The company partners with leading financial institutions to deliver innovative solutions that improve efficiency and optimize financial operations.

Position OverviewThe Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing the monthly close process, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring accurate and timely financial information. This position offers strong visibility across the organization and the opportunity to contribute to process improvements in a fast-paced fintech environment.
Responsibilities- Manage and oversee the monthly and quarterly close process
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal accounting policies
- Assist with preparation of financial statements and management reporting
- Support the annual audit and coordinate with external auditors
- Maintain and improve accounting processes and internal controls
- Assist with technical accounting research and implementation
- Partner with FP&A and operational teams on financial matters
- Support system implementations and process improvements
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA/MSA preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience
- Public accounting experience strongly preferred
- Experience in fintech, SaaS, or financial services is a plus
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Experience with ERP systems (Net Suite preferred)
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- High-growth or venture-backed company experience
- SaaS or technology company experience
- Revenue recognition experience (ASC 606)
- Experience supporting external audits
- Process improvement or automation initiatives
